LAUNCHPAD

LaunchPad is a program designed to catapult emerging artists into successful careers in dance and circus arts. This comprehensive program bridges the gap between formal education and professional success by offering a unique blend of skill refinement, performance enhancement and real-world experience.

    • Pre-Professional and Professional Track Circus programs

  • Recreational adult performers who want to make the switch to professional

Program Highlights

​

  1. Skill Refinement: Intensive training with CC&DC Faculty to hone and expand your existing dance and circus skills. Our goal is for you to be comfortable or proficient performing in 2 dance and 2 circus arts disciplines after 1 year.

  2. Performance Opportunities: Improve your performance skills and build your resume while performing with Caroline Calouche & Co.

  3. Teaching Opportunities: Guided experiences in instructing various abilities and levels.

  4. Collaborative Projects: Opportunities to create and perform your own choreography under the mentorship of Caroline Calouche and CC&DC Faculty.

  5. Business of the Arts: Workshops on how to set yourself up as a business and operate a successful business through self-promotion, contract negotiation, and financial management for performers.

  6. Health and Wellness: Comprehensive training in injury prevention, nutrition, and maintaining peak physical and mental condition. Students will have exposure to the following conditioning techniques: Pilates, Gyrokinesis, Gyrotonics and Yoga.

Schedule & Application Process

  • Deadlines (or until space is full)

    • Summer Session: May 18, 2025

    • Fall Session: June 30, 2025

    • Spring Session: September 10, 2025

  • $25 applications fee

  • Complete the application form that includes your resume, photos, videos, goals and references.

Selection Process

  • You will receive notification in 3 weeks after you apply if you are passed to the Interview Round.

  • After the Interview Round, you might be asked to learn CC&Co. repertory and send a video.

  • Pending the video portion, our goal will be to give you a final notification 5 weeks after your submission date.

  • There may be an in person audition, but we will do our best to save travel costs for you and select virtually.

  • Note: Spaces could fill up. Do not wait for the deadline to apply.

  • Your acceptance packet will have a detailed schedule and a draft of your personal goal plan for that session.

  • Before committing to LaunchPad, we will have a meeting to discuss the program and answer your questions.
